Tim’s story
During 2008 until 2009 Tim was competing in low-budget go-karting, but had to quit due to a lack of funding. Then he was introduced to sim racing as an alternative option, and he quickly saw the potential it had.
He started to take sim racing more seriously and focused on developing his skills. After, he has won several sim racing competitions, including the virtual DTM, and eventually made the transition from the virtual world races to real race cars.
“I wouldn’t be where I am today without sim racing.”
Now, he’s using sim racing to practice real world racing. Tim feels that sim racing gave him a significant boost in both driving skills and reputation.
“Sim racing is a major advantage when it comes to preparation and overall training — improving reflexes, mental focus, teamwork, strategic thinking, concentration, and endurance. It’s more than just learning the tracks; it’s about learning how to become a racing driver.”
