How does the Simucube ActivePedal work?

The inner workings of the Active Pedal

  1. Load cell: a force sensor recognizes how hard it’s pressed.
  2. Motor: software directs the motor to move relative to the force used to press the pedal.
  3. Linear axis: the motor moves the linear axis, which moves the arm to which the pedalface is attached.

Rig Compatibility

The Simucube Baseplate is compatible with aluminum profile rigs where profile or pedal position can be adjusted lengthwise. For example:

  • Trak Racer rigs
  • Next Level Racing Elite rigs

It is possible to install the Simucube Baseplate using Sparco sliding rails when the width of the bolt distribution of the rails is 340 mm.

Active means it produces all pedal force with a motorized actuator and control algorithms. This is the opposite to passive pedals which rely on rubbers, springs or cylinders. Active control is the magic behind infinite adjustability and consistency.
