The biggest benefit of the ActivePedal technology for me is how easy it is to adjust pedals and being able to directly compare several settings. This is simply not possible with conventional pedals and helps you a lot to setup the pedals to your personal preference.
Ignore all the presets it comes with and spend some time to set it up to YOUR liking. The added effects of course are very useful as well.
