Mika Keski-Korpi
Motorsports driver specializing in drifting, currently racing in the Drift Masters series
“The feedback from Simucube 2 Pro wheelbase is the most essential feature for my training. I can trust that it feels exactly as it should feel. Every single time.”
Inside Mika‘s rig
For Mika, sim racing is first and foremost a training tool, a way to build realistic feel and repeatable practice without the costs of real-world seat time. What matters most to him is knowing the hardware delivers the same sensation, every session
Mika’s story
Mika’s relationship with racing games started with playing on PlayStation from a young age and getting his first taste of driving with a wheel. But his real sim racing journey began later, after he was already competing in real life.
The motivation for sim racing was simple. He needed a cheaper way to train outside of the real race car. With a structured approach, good equipment and a clear plan, sim training quickly improved his real-life racing skills.
In fact, one year after starting serious sim training, he describes becoming the most improved driver in Drift Masters, highlighting how consistent virtual practice translated directly into results on track.
Today, he uses sim racing to work on two key areas:
- Car setup direction
- Driving style refinement
Favorite track: Riga Bikernieki
“I would recommend other sim racers to choose Simucube to have the most realistic feeling when driving sim and you can then use the skills learnt in irl driving”
Prepare for real life racing
When asked what makes Simucube essential for his training, Mika points straight to the core: wheelbase feedback. He chose Simucube after hearing recommendations from other sim drivers, and he stays with it because the feeling is reliable. Every time he jumps in, it feels exactly as it should.
