Back in 2022, we at Simucube introduced ActivePedal, now known as ActivePedal Ultimate, and changed what a pedal could do while creating a whole new pedal category. Force, travel, and feel are all defined in software instead of fixed by a spring. This is the same shift wheelbases went through with direct drive. Once you feel it, you don't go back.
ActivePedal Sport brings that same technology to a lot more of you, in the shortest ActivePedal yet. It's a powerful pedal in a compact package.
Four years of ActivePedal engineering
By now, we’ve been building active pedals for four years. It all goes back to a time when a pedal was a fixed piece of hardware, and nobody was waiting for a servo-driven one. We built it because we believed a pedal could do more than push back with a spring.
That belief has shaped everything since: ActivePedal Pro and Ultimate, the telemetry effects that let the simulation send information back through your foot, and Simucube Tuner software, where every pedal setting lives. Each step taught us something about how a pedal should feel, behave, and last.
ActivePedal Sport carries all of it: the same servo-driven technology, the same engineering standards, the same software. Fitting that much into the shortest ActivePedal we've made is the result of everything those four years taught us.

If you've never tried an active pedal, here's what sets it apart from a passive one.
A passive pedal gets its feel from springs and elastomers that compress as you push against them. Changing that feel means guesswork and trying different spring rates and elastomer stacks. In ActivePedal, a servo motor creates the resistance, and the feel lives in software. Force, travel, and feel are each adjusted independently.
That's the whole difference, and it's where everything else comes from.
