Simucube proudly presents Simucube Tuner 2.5, one of the biggest software updates in Simucube’s history – an all-in-one software to simplify racing with auto-switch profiles and many new features. Tuner 2.5 connects controllability with ease of use, delivering a simple, effective, and superior sim racing experience.

Simucube Tuner 2.5 is a massive upgrade, providing total control over all Simucube products – and Simucube Wireless Wheels including Ascher, SimRacingBay, SimCore and more. Designed as the big step towards user-friendliness without compromising performance and tuning, it allows you to master your sim racing gear effortlessly.

Simucube Tuner 2.5 has improved user interface and overall experience than its previous versions. This release ensures that Simucube products remain future proof. Simucube owners don’t have to fear that their products would get outdated – they are getting better.

Simucube involved its community in developing Tuner 2.5, with an Open beta software allowing feedback-driven improvements. The final version reflects real user insights, showcasing Simucube’s dedication to listening to its community. Whole Simucube team wants to thank everyone who participated in shaping the future of sim racing.

We are thankful for our community for participating in Tuner 2.5. Open Beta, and giving us great feedback, which helped us immensely. Keep your voices loud, because we are really, really listening. Tuner 2.5 aims to set a new industry standard, offering flexibility combined with simplicity. Stick to optimized default settings or fine-tune every detail of your products effortlessly – the choice is yours. This flexibility applies to all product features. Upgrading to Tuner 2.5 allows the user to experience the future of sim racing today.

So far I don’t like the tuner integration… I LOVE IT!!! 😀 Great work! I’m loving having everything in one place! I really appreciate the automatic plugin switch, very waited feature All Simucube 2 wheelbases now work in Tuner:

Control your wheelbase, pedals, and wireless wheels in one place—no need for two different softwares. The improved interface makes adjustments easier.

Automatic profile switching now works on all these wheelbases.

Tuner 2.5 shows Simucube’s commitment to long-term support. Simucube 2 wheelbases launched in 2019 and are still getting updates today. Simucube’s mindset is to keep products relevant as long as possible—and our wheelbases still have more to give.

Torque linearity filter allows to reduce or boost the lower small torque signals, and it was previously only available for Simucube 2 Ultimate models. Now we were able to bring it to Sport and Pro models too. Tuner 2.5 now includes all key features from True Drive. True Drive is still available for those who prefer it, with bug fixes continuing for now. But new features will only be added to Tuner.

You can move your offline profiles from True Drive to Tuner 2.5. Go to wheelbase settings, select “Import Offline Profile” and choose the profiles you want. Repeat this for every profile you want to import.

Alternatively, if you would like to import all your offline profiles from True Drive to Tuner you can go to the folder where your True Drive profiles are (usually at C:\\Users\\Name\\Documents\\Simucube 2\\cachedprofiles) select all and then drag them on top of the Tuner Software window.

You can download and use True Drive Paddock profiles in Tuner 2.5. But this only works one way (downloading). We are rebuilding the Paddock system, both backend and UI, to let users share any profile (wheelbase, pedals, steering wheels) if they want.

To upload or update your Simucube 2 profiles to Paddock, you still need to use True Drive. Or you can export the profile as a file and share it in the Simucube Discord channel #wheelbase-profiles.

Tuner 2.5 lets you use all Simucube Wireless wheels, including all Tahko and Valo models. You can also use any wheel that supports Simucube wireless technology, like those from Ascher, SimRacingBay, SimCore, and others. You can find all supported wireless wheels from our website.

These steering wheels now work with any wheelbase—even non-Simucube ones. Just swap the wheel-side quick release and connect wirelessly through Simucube Link Hub. If you have an ActivePedal or Simucube Valo, you can use the same Link Hub. If not, you can get one separately.

For drivers using multiple wireless wheels, the update adds the Steering Wheel Button Configurator. You set up your buttons and shifters once, and they stay the same when you switch wheels. No need to remap every time.

New LED configuration tool for steering wheels helps making LED-setups for race awareness and real-time feedback. This especially useful for Simucube Valo users.

You can remap all buttons as you like. If you use multiple wheels, the buttons keep the same functions when you switch—no need to set them up again in the simulator or game.

Simucube pedal lineup has already been in Tuner software:

Automatic profile switching now works on all these pedals.

We have split the pedal profiles to be separate from each other (brake, clutch, throttle) instead of one single pedal profile bundle, allowing the easier handling, ensuring optimal performance for every racing scenario.

Simucube has ambitious plans for future pedal upgrades, guaranteeing that your ActivePedals will just continue to improve over time.

Automatic profile switching has been requested by the community a lot and for a long time, and finally we had all the components to implement it: the telemetry data from the games – which cars to use – and now that Simucube 2 is also in Tuner, we can implement this system for all of our devices.

– Lassi Hämäläinen, software architect, senior software developer

You can turn automatic switching on or off in settings. Even if it’s off, you can still mark profiles for switching by clicking sliders next to device boxes.

In Tuner 2.5, you can create shortcuts for profiles and add them to a Stream Deck.

Done. Now you can switch profiles fast.

While this update is massive in scale, we have plenty more to offer. You can find the roadmap here showcasing what we are currently working on.

Simucube Tuner 2.5 isn’t just an update—it’s an investment in the future of sim racing. By upgrading, you become part of the next generation of sim racing software. Simucube will only keep on improving, so join to the future of sim racing.

Download Simucube Tuner 2.5 and experience this yourself.

What is new in Simucube Tuner 2.5?
