The improved interface makes adjustments easier.<\/p>\n<p>Automatic profile switching now works on all these wheelbases.<\/p>\n<p>Tuner 2.5 shows Simucube&#8217;s commitment to long-term support. Simucube 2 wheelbases launched in 2019 and are still getting updates today. Simucube&#8217;s mindset is to keep products relevant as long as possible\u2014and our wheelbases still have more to give.<\/p>\n<p><em>Torque linearity filter allows to reduce or boost the lower small torque signals, and it was previously only available for Simucube 2 Ultimate models. Now we were able to bring it to Sport and Pro models too.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u2013\u00a0Joni H\u00e4m\u00e4l\u00e4inen,\u00a0junior software designer<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>True Drive, True Drive Paddock, and Tuner<\/h3>\n<p>Tuner 2.5 now includes all key features from True Drive. True Drive is still available for those who prefer it, with bug fixes continuing for now. But new features will only be added to Tuner.<\/p>\n<h4>Importing True Drive offline profiles<\/h4>\n<p>You can move your offline profiles from True Drive to Tuner 2.5. Go to wheelbase settings, select &#8220;Import Offline Profile&#8221; and choose the profiles you want. Repeat this for every profile you want to import.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, if you would like to import all your offline profiles from True Drive to Tuner you can go to the folder where your True Drive profiles are (usually at C:\\Users\\Name\\Documents\\Simucube 2\\cachedprofiles) select all and then drag them on top of the Tuner Software window.<\/p>\n<h4>Paddock profile support is one-way<\/h4>\n<p>You can download and use True Drive Paddock profiles in Tuner 2.5. But this only works one way (downloading). We are rebuilding the Paddock system, both backend and UI, to let users share any profile (wheelbase, pedals, steering wheels) if they want.<\/p>\n<p>To upload or update your Simucube 2 profiles to Paddock, you still need to use True Drive. You can also use any wheel that supports Simucube wireless technology, like those from Ascher, SimRacingBay, SimCore, and others. You can find all supported wireless wheels from <a href=\"https:\/\/simucube.com\/simucube-wireless-wheels\/\">our website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>These steering wheels now work with any wheelbase\u2014even non-Simucube ones. Just swap the wheel-side quick release and connect wirelessly through Simucube Link Hub. If you have an ActivePedal or Simucube Valo, you can use the same Link Hub. If not, you can get one separately.<\/p>\n<p>For drivers using multiple wireless wheels, the update adds the Steering Wheel Button Configurator. You set up your buttons and shifters once, and they stay the same when you switch wheels. No need to remap every time.<\/p>\n<p>New LED configuration tool for steering wheels helps making LED-setups for race awareness and real-time feedback. This especially useful for Simucube Valo users.<\/p>\n<p><em>You can remap all buttons as you like. You see this info in the top right of the Overview.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enable auto-switching: <\/strong>Click the slider in the device box in Overview. This links your current profiles to the current or last-used car.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Set a default profile for a sim: <\/strong>Click &#8220;&#8230;&#8221; near the slider to choose a default profile for a sim. If no profile is linked to a car, Tuner will use this default instead.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Next time you launch the sim with the same car: <\/strong>Tuner checks if your selected profiles are active. If not, it switches them automatically.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Unsaved changes? <\/strong>If you have unsaved changes, Tuner asks what you want to do.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can turn automatic switching on or off in settings. Even if it&#8217;s off, you can still mark profiles for switching by clicking sliders next to device boxes.<\/p>\n<h3>Stream deck support<\/h3>\n<p>In Tuner 2.5, you can create shortcuts for profiles and add them to a Stream Deck.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <strong>Overview<\/strong> in Tuner.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>hamburger menu<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>\u201cCreate shortcut for profiles\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 This makes a shortcut to switch to your current profiles.<\/li>\n<li>Add the shortcut to your Stream Deck.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Done.
