Upgrading your wheelbase shouldn’t mean starting your wheel collection from scratch. If you’re moving to Simucube 3<\/strong><\/a> and have wheels paired with a Simucube 2 Quick Release<\/strong>, the Simucube 2 Quick Release Adapter for Simucube 3<\/strong><\/a> keeps them in the rig.<\/p>\n The adapter replaces the Link Quick Release interface on your Simucube 3 wheelbase with the Simucube 2 Quick Release system. Any wheel you’ve been running with a Simucube 2 Quick Release mounts straight on \u2014 same as before, no modifications needed.<\/p>\n The adapter is designed for Simucube 3 owners who have an existing collection of Simucube 2 Quick Release wheels<\/strong> and aren’t ready to transition to the Link Quick Release ecosystem. It’s also useful for anyone running multiple rigs who wants flexibility between generations.<\/p>\n Lightbridge does not work with this adapter.<\/strong> Because the adapter replaces the Link Quick Release interface entirely, wireless data and power transfer via Lightbridge is not available.<\/p>\n Bluetooth continues to work as normal.<\/strong> Wheel data transfer over Bluetooth is unaffected.<\/p>\n Installation is straightforward.<\/strong> Remove the original Link Quick Release from your wheelbase, install the adapter using the included fasteners and tools, and mount your wheel with the supplied locking pin.
